Does weather affect pain?

An article on the influence of meteorological factors on the intensity of pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis has just been published in the very serious ‘Osteoarthritis and Cartilage’ journal.
 
The conclusions are unequivocal: there is no link between changes in atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity and precipitation and exacerbation of pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
 
So there is no need to ask your grandmother what the weather is going to be like tomorrow.
