Four personalities support our Foundation

Félix-Marie Brasseur, double individual world champion in 4-horse driving

FMB3.jpgIn 1996 and 2006, Félix-Marie Brasseur became an individual world champion in four-horse driving. He has not hesitated to support our Foundation and thus contributes to improving the quality of life of thousands of people, but also that of our four-legged companions.

"Others are certainly more damaged than me and I am very proud to be the Patron of a Research Group that will be able to help them go further."

Marc Duez, famous Belgian pilot

The racing driver was born in 1957 and during 29 years, he multiplied the victories in rally, but also in Sport Proto, single-seater, grand touring and even in ice races! He is undoubtedly a monument of motorsport, a driver like no other.

"I thank you for contacting me as a representative of motorsport, which is practiced by a large number of amateurs as well as professionals. The enthusiasts of this discipline start as soon as they are teenagers and this until the age of pre-retirement (if not more!).
The wear and tear on the body and the injuries contracted during these years end up penalizing the pilot at a certain point in his life, often in the form of arthritis. From that moment on, competitiveness decreases and the pilot tends to "save himself". He lives with this discomfort that makes him suffer while practicing this sport discipline as much physical as mental. Only the morale and determination of the rider will allow him to "last", with or without the help of painkillers. The research should allow a better comfort and, afterwards, a cure for these enthusiasts who will be able to "rejuvenate". Thank you to you and to the researchers who will help us to continue the practice of Motorsport comfortably! We are with you."

Olivier Gourmet, a key figure in French cinema

Olivier-Gourmet.jpgOlivier Gourmet grew up in Mirwart, a village in the Belgian Ardennes where his father was a cattle merchant and his mother ran a hotel-restaurant. He discovered his talent for acting at the age of 13, when he was asked to replace a sick classmate at short notice. In one line, he made the audience laugh! Since then, he has become a key figure in French-speaking cinema.

"During vestibular rehabilitation sessions, I had the pleasure and the opportunity to discuss with Professor Henrotin osteoarthritis, a throbbing pain that affects, at a certain age, far too many people... I myself have osteoarthritis problems, but above all I saw my mother, in addition to her other worries, suffer greatly from osteoarthritis for many months before her death... seeing this intense suffering determined me to support the Osteoarthritis Foundation, to support the men and women who work eve
